3A - Entrepreneurship Story
Personally, I do not think I have a very "entrepreneurial" mindset or personality like some of the people I know. I have not wanted to create businesses or start-ups before. I do not think of new products or solutions like entrepreneurs do. My mind and thoughts are just not geared towards that. The only real link that I have to entrepreneurialism is through a guy named Gary Vaynerchuk who is a global personality and famous entrepreneur. I love his videos were he preaches about hard work and grinding for everything you want. He says things like how much you "hustle" is what is going to make you different from the people around you. He is one of the most famous and successful entrepreneurs that I know of. Gary Vaynerchuk has multiple businesses and is not content with his success and wants to keep growing. Gary V. also spends a lot of time talking to people and making videos about how he got to where he is and to inspire people to be great as well. I do not plan on becoming an entrepreneur anytime soon, but I will continue to listen to Gary Vaynerchuk as he has great advice and motivation that can help me in my career and life.

2A - Bug List
Bug List
1. Unlocking my front door after getting off of the bus is a real pain.
Why it exists: My keys are all the way in my backpack which I have to take off my back to search for my keys.
2. Shopping at two different groceries for best prices
Why it exists: Some items are cheapest at one store, while others are cheapest at a different store.
3. Walking to South West Rec from the side lot.
Why it exists: To park at the front lot which is much closer you must have a parking pass or it must be pass 3:30 p.m. I do not have a parking pass and I exercise before 3:30.
4. Cooking dinner every night is a big-time spender.
Why it exists: I did not buy a meal plan at UF to save money. Preparing food every night takes a while to prepare.
5. Not many spaces for parking for the people with no parking passes.
Why it exists: Whenever the parking lots are available to people with no passes they get filled almost immediately.
6. Walking from the O'Dome to my classes at McCarty Hall at 4 o'clock is far.
Why it exists: The O'Dome has one of the earliest lifted times for people with no parking passes. It is on the opposite of campus to where I am going.
7. The busses are always crowded when I am on them.
Why it exists: My classes are during some of the busiest times of the day when most students also have close. Thus, quite a lot of students are using the busses at the same time as I am, making them full.
8. Having multiple exams on the same day.
Why it exists: I have multiple classes on the same day, so there are times when these classes have exams on the same day.
9. Waiting for exercise machines.
Why it exists: South West Rec is a free gym for students, so a lot of students take advantage of that. Many students workout there causing the busyness. Also, the gym is too small and needs more machines.
10. My car leaking oil.
Why it exists: The car is 20 years old, it has very low mileage, but with age comes cracking and leaking gaskets and seals that need to be replaced.
11. Running out of breath easily in soccer games.
Why it exists: Do not take enough time during the week to do cardio.
12. White shoes always getting dirty.
Why it exists: White shoes were not meant for this world. Nowhere is clean enough to not get white shoes dirty. White shows the dirt too easily.
13. Group projects in online classes are a challenge.
Why it exists: Not being able to have face to face communication with members makes the project more difficult than it needs to be. People not working on the project becomes easier.
14. Having online classes with the same due dates.
Why it exists: Online classes love to have their due dates for tests and assignments on Sundays at 11:59 p.m. If I have had a busy week all those assignments can add up.
15. People texting in group chats constantly.
Why it exists: Sure you can place the group chats on do not disturb, but then you might miss important things. People are constantly talking in them and you do not want to miss anything so you can not shut it off.
16. Not being able to stay up late with friends.
Why it exists: Can not have many nights where I can go out or stay up late because of early classes on campus the next day.
17. Spam email notifications.
Why it exists: Some company has my email address which gets spread around to other companies who send me promotional emails daily. My phone buzzes quite a lot when they arrive in my inbox.
18. No parking spaces in your own apartment complex.
Why it exists: Complex did not build enough parking spaces for all tenants to fit their vehicles.
19. Having to ride a scooter in the rain.
Why it exists: Sometimes I miss my bus and borrow a scooter. No way to stop rain from getting you wet on a scooter.
20. Buying textbooks from the bookstore is more expensive than online or from other retailers.
Why it exists: It is more convenient to buy textbooks right on campus, but they are priced higher than most other retailers.
Reflection: This assignment challenged how I perceive things and situations around me. I never knew so many things "bugged" me in my life because I never thought long and hard about them. I completely expected myself to not like this assignment but found myself enjoying it the farther I got into it. Thinking like an "entrepreneur" can actually be a fun way to view the world around me. I can see how this is a way that entrepreneurs can find problems in their daily lives and come up with solutions that can be turned into products or businesses. After this assignment, I think I will continue to think about things like this as a way to make my life better. I did not find this assignment that difficult, only when it came down to the last 4 or 3 did I have to think very hard about "bugs" in my life.
