My most formative experience is just completing the class. When I first read the syllabus and saw all of the assignments it was daunting. I did not think I was going to be able to complete the class. But here I am, writing my last blog post for this class. I think doing all of the assignments was the most formative for me. I am most joyous and proud of just completing the class. I knew it was possible, but in the beginning, it seemed like a mountain of work. But now, it is mountain chipped away into a tiny hill.
I do see myself having an entrepreneurial mindset now. I see problems and opportunities more easily and frequently now more than ever.
I recommend setting a strict schedule and to not procrastinate. if you do the work you will get the grade. Do not put off the work or it will catch up to you. There are strict deadlines in this class that you do not want to miss. At the beginning of every week read over the assignments and see what you need to accomplish that week for the class.
Hey Garrett, what a wild semester! It's pretty funny because when I was writing this final reflection, I thought the same thing, just completing this class was a formative experience. I, too, got some anxiety when I saw the sheer amount of the assignments this class required. Like you said, to really succeed on this class and to get the work done on time, a set schedule is key.
ReplyDeleteGarrett, I enjoyed reading your posts. That is what I like the most about this class because I felt I got to know our classmates. I agree to recommend a strict schedule and not procrastinating. There were some assignments that I almost did not allow enough time to complete that I found myself up all night to finish. Many of these assignments are thought-provoking and cannot be done in five minutes! Great job on your venture idea!

I was overwhelmed with the amount of writing for this class being that it is not my strong suit. I also agree that it is important to not procrastinate in this class and look ahead at what assignments are coming up. It will also help you get more out of the class by spending more time to develop your ideas.
